Shipping policy

The one thing worth knowing: our products are made to order by hand. Total delivery = make time (shown on every product page) + transit time (below). Paying for Express speeds up the carrier, not the maker.

1. Rates & delivery times

All orders ship from our studio at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste 10376, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

2. Make time (processing)

Because each piece is made by hand rather than pulled off a shelf, every product page carries its own make time. Some examples from the current range:

  • 1–2 business days — soy candles, soap sets, turquoise earrings, copper cuffs
  • 2–4 business days — stoneware mugs, bowls and vases (they're fired in batches)
  • 3–5 business days — macramé wall hangings, walnut serving boards
  • 5–7 business days — leather totes and merino throws, which are made to order

If you order several items, we ship the whole order once the slowest piece is ready. Want the fast items sent first? Say so in the order notes — we'll split the shipment at no extra cost.

3. Tracking

You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your parcel is scanned by the carrier. Tracking can take 24–48 hours to show its first movement — that's the carrier's system catching up, not a lost parcel. If it's been more than 48 hours since your shipping confirmation and tracking still shows nothing, tell us and we'll chase it.

4. Customs, duties & import taxes

For international orders, duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are not collected at our checkout. Your country sets those charges, we don't, and we have no way to calculate them in advance or reduce them.

We're required to declare the accurate value on the customs form. We can't mark an order as a gift or under-declare its value — please don't ask.

If a parcel is refused or abandoned because of unpaid duties, it's treated as a change-of-mind return: we refund the item price minus the original and return shipping costs once it comes back to us.

5. Address accuracy

Please double-check your address at checkout. We ship exactly what you enter. If you spot a mistake, contact us within 12 hours and we'll almost certainly catch it before dispatch. Once a parcel has shipped to an address you supplied, a redelivery is at your cost.

6. Lost, delayed or damaged parcels

  • Damaged in transit — send us photos of the item and the packaging within 48 hours of delivery. We replace or refund in full and you keep the broken piece; no need to ship it back.
  • Marked delivered but missing — check with neighbours and your building's mail room first, then contact us. We'll open a carrier trace and make it right if it doesn't turn up.
  • Delayed — if a US parcel is more than 7 business days past its window, or an international one more than 14, message us and we'll investigate or reship.

We don't charge you for carrier mistakes. Weather, customs backlogs and public holidays are outside anyone's control, but they're still our problem to sort out.

7. Bulk & wholesale shipping

Bulk orders (10+ units) are quoted individually, because a pallet of ceramics prices differently from a box of soap. What's included:

  • Freight quoted at cost — we don't mark up shipping on bulk orders
  • Split shipping to multiple addresses at no extra handling fee
  • Consolidated packing to reduce your per-unit cost
  • Scheduled or staggered delivery dates for events and retail restocks

Bulk lead times run 2–4 weeks typically, and 5–6 weeks over 250 units. We confirm exact dates in writing before you pay anything. Build a bulk list or message us on WhatsApp at +1 575 210 4308.

8. Packaging

We pack plastic-free wherever the item survives it: recycled kraft boxes, paper tape, shredded paper void fill and glassine wrap. Ceramics get double-boxed with corner protection, because a cracked mug helps nobody. Prints ship flat between rigid boards rather than rolled in a tube.

The one exception is our waxed canvas and leather goods, which travel in a biodegradable cellulose bag to stop oil transfer in transit.
